I forgot to put this info in my last blog! So Here It Is — Ta Dum! For those of you in the Toronto area — or those of you who want to come to the Toronto area — on November 27, 2014 (Happy Thanksgiving to me and all the other Americans out there), I’ll be taking part in the second performance in the series Writes of Passage at the Windup Bird Cafe here in Toronto. This will be a cross generational collision of two pairs of artists (two under 30 & two over 60). The theme of the evening will be Love and how it plays into a specific sense of place. Appearing with me will be poets, Ed Heeley and Trevor Abes, and composer Natale Danko.
The event runs from 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. The night will be complemented by a two course $18 pre-fix dinner by award winning chef Yumiko Kobayahsi. Oh, there will also be a special price for drinks for the evening!
Books by the readers will be available for purchase after the event.
The Windup Bird Cafe is located at 382 College Street, Toronto. To RSVP email Justine at Windup Bird.
I think it’s going to be fun! Hope I see some of you there.
